Ever feel like the truest part of you is asleep? Stuck on autopilot as you rush from work to the gym or yoga. Pulled by email pings and Facebook posts. Buried under to-do lists longer than your arm.
You adapt to everyone else’s needs without even realizing it — your boss gets that report before she asks for it, your kids are always fed and happy, your clients think you hung the moon — but nobody seems to notice you haven’t had an afternoon alone in months.
You know you have a personal calling, but it always seems to be just outside your vision, like one of those 3-D eye puzzles that never works.

There's a Story About This.

For thousands of years, there have been stories told about epic women — goddesses — who live your story in mythic terms. These women create the world, save the it from demons, inspire epic poets — and they do it while knowing their own worth.
Myths are stories we tell to understand the Big Lessons of life — and these myths are the Big Lessons of womanhood. The lesson of creating our dream life without waiting for permission. Using our seductive prowess to outsmart evil. Nurturing a home and family that inspires generations. And welcoming major change with patience and grace.
These lessons live inside your breath, and these stories are written on your bones.
The time has come to let them out.
You + me + eleven other goddesses-in-training are going on an adventure.
Call them archetypes, goddesses, mythos, stories, assets, facets — I call them Shakti, the current inside everything: life, ideas, creativity, emotion, action. Without Shakti, nothing happens.
In the Shakti Circle, a six-month exploration of six Goddess archetypes from the Indian tradition, we will use their stories to more deeply understand ourselves. We’ll dive in deep to the energies of Parvati, Saraswati, Lakshmi, Durga, Kali, and Lalita. We’ll discover their stories, personalities, mantras, and practices. They might come from another culture, era, and language, yet each holds undeniable clarity about being Human. And not just human, but Woman.
Through these ancient archetypes, we’ll explore your own story and bring your inner vision into sharper focus. Theses goddess myths have laid the path we must walk — the Shakti Circle will help illuminate it.
What’s included in your investment:
Six monthly workshops that will draw upon goddess myths, mantras, yoga practice, song, and laughter

Oh no! I’m going to miss a session (or two) of the Shakti Circle because… I’m getting married, or going to Paris, or I’m driving my firstborn to college, or…
No worries. Not only will each weekend be recorded, available for your viewing pleasure forever, I’ll also make arrangements to livestream weekends if you’ll be available, just not in New Orleans for the weekend.
Can I pay in installments?
Absolutely. There are a few installment plans available to make both Shakti Circle and Coaching more financially accessible. We can talk about the details on our call.
What if I’m not a super advanced yogi?
That is totally cool. There will be some asana (physical) practice at our meetings, but it will be tailored to who is in the group. With a only 12 practicioners, I can tailor sequences and offer personal adjustments based on your needs, abilities, and restrictions.
I’m a yoga teacher, too. What “level” is this?
I’m sourcing many of the original texts to tell the stories, including the Devi Mahatmyam, a number of other Puranas, and Upanishads. I’m a Sanskrit nerd, so we might get into some of that. The mantras come from all over — some come from traditional pujas, some are sourced from the texts, and still others are more traditional. We’ll examine images from murtis to temple statues, ancient to modern. I’ve been steeping in these stories and practices for years, and I’ll go way deep with you if that’s your jam.
What do you have against dudes? Why can’t men participate?
Brene Brown tells a story about how her early research focused on women and shame. She was at her book signing, and a man came up to her and asked her where the research on men was. She explained “My research focus is women.” and he stared her straight on and said “Well, isn’t that convenient? My wife and daughters would rather see me die on my white horse than ever fall off it.”
I’ve been thinking about this story a lot. I am deeply committed to the grand awakening in all of us — and I believe that these Shakti energies are just as alive in men; just like the faces and stories of Vishnu, Shiva, and Brahma are alive in women.
For now, it’s important to me to keep a sacred circle of women. Conversations change when the room is mixed-gender.
But trust me: there will be mixed-gender conversations to come. If you’re a man who is craving something like this, email me at email@example.com.
